Your voice matters: Be a community team leader assuring the health and future of our area!

Bland County Medical Clinic, Inc. would like to offer the opportunity, for individuals who are seeking to give back in a manner that helps assure the well-being of the community, to apply to become a board member.

  • Board members provide oversight, guidance, and assurances that clinic operations focus on providing the highest quality care for all individuals seeking while maintaining intelligent, fiscal responsibility.
  • Individuals with finance and banking, healthcare, industry, management, local government or legal backgrounds can utilize their knowledge for guidance while homemakers and other community members can use their skills and backgrounds to assure that the overall needs of the community are being met.

Board members are volunteers who are essential and valued team members to our healthcare facility. If you are interested in making a difference by donating your time once a month (rarely more than one meeting may be called) please contact: Amy Melvin, CEO at amelvin@blandclinic.net.

Every adult, regardless of age, has something to offer from young adult to senior citizens. Being a patient of the facility is not required, although it is helpful in understanding the full operational process due to personal experience. Employees, immediate family members of employees, or immediate relatives of present board members are not eligible to serve in this role.
