Family Medicine Physician – Our busy FQHC has an exciting opportunity for a family medicine physician to join our group of two physicians and eight nurse practitioners in the picturesque county of Bland, Virginia.  The eligible physician must be board eligible or board certified.  Our facility offers a competitive compensation package to go along with the advantages of working in a setting surrounded by mountain views with close proximity to fishing streams, bike trails, and the Appalachian Trail.   We offer excellent health insurance benefits, vacation, sick time, relocation assistance, life insurance, paid CME time off with a stipend to help cover associated costs, 403(b) with a 3% match, as well as malpractice insurance with tail coverage. To help reduce workplace stress, an established employee wellness program is available that offers free craniosacral sessions, massages, and reflexology for all staff members. The open position is for 32-hours on the schedule and 8 hours administrative time (to review documents and labs) per week.  Our clinic strives to maintain life-work balance for staff, allowing administrative time to be done on own at home.  Rotation of call schedule (answering calls only, no returning to clinic) is 1/9.

Dietitian/Nutritionist-B.S. Degree, M.S preferred for this exiting position for candidates who have graduated from an accredited college or university with a degree in nutrition/dietetics, and/or Certified Diabetes Educator (if not a CDE, will be expected to obtain with 2-3 post employment). Experience in an acute or outpatient healthcare setting with expertise in a sub-specialty such as diabetes or hypertension is strongly desired. The successful candidate will enjoy working and building a relationship with patients on a one on one basis through counseling and education.  This position holds the opportunity for a self-driven, independent individual to build a program that affects the lives of patients in a way that provides visible outcomes in the health of patients and the community. RN/LPN – Our busy, rural FQHCis seeking applicants for full-time positions for Virginia licensed RN’s and LPN’s. Dentist – Bland County Medical Clinic is in partnership with Bland Ministry Center and Dental Clinic in offering dental services to the community.  Our joint organization is searching for a compassionate, skilled dentist to serve the residents of SW Virginia.  This position offers a 4-day work week, competitive salary and benefits.  Other staff members include dental hygienist, dental assistants and on-site denture technician.  This position offers the reward of visibly seeing the difference made in the lives of an underserved population while helping to grow a program into one that offers nothing but the highest quality of oral health care.

Psychologist or LCSW –This rurally located FQHC in Southwest Virginia is seeking to fill a vacate behavioral health position.  A licensed clinical psychologist is preferred but all Licensed Clinical Social Workers are encouraged to apply as well.  The successful candidate will become part of an integrated behavioral health program that promotes warm-hand offs of patients between primary care providers and behavioral health care staff.  An excellent benefit package, competitive salary, employee wellness, and 403(b) program are just some of the rewards of working for this busy health center.  This position offers the opportunity for the self-motivated individual to become part of a team that cultivates a healthier outlook and response to mental health care needs for the underserved rural population.
